Bury Your Memories

Bury Your Memories, founded by Jason Zoblin in 2020, was created to unite the pop-punk community for a cause that hits close to home. This unique festival combines the energy of the pop-punk scene with the power of giving back, raising awareness and funds to fight diseases that have impacted Jason’s family. Each year, Bury Your Memories dedicates its events to supporting individuals affected by social or medical challenges, making every show not just a celebration of music, but a meaningful contribution to a greater cause.

After several years of being a part of the Bury Your Memories community, I was able to give back and aid in creating their 5-year anniversary logo and several poster designs/advertisements. Jason has genuinely cultivated an amazing group of people, musicians, and fans alike, and I am very proud to call him a dear friend and inspiration to those in the industry.

Logo Re-Redesign

For Bury Your Memories' 5th anniversary, they decided to refresh their logo, blending elements from past designs into a new, cohesive look. The updated logo combines the iconic cancer ribbon imagery with a strong arm and a flower, symbolizing rebirth and growth. Together, we worked through several iterations before finalizing a design that truly encapsulates the festival’s mission and growth.

Flyer Designs

One of my favorite aspects of design is creating illustrations that are both fun and meaningful for events that bring people together for a great cause. Every flyer I create for Bury Your Memories is more than just a visual—it's a representation of a deeper story. From the choice of colors to the imagery itself, each design is crafted with intention. What makes this collaboration even more special is that every poster goes through not only the organizers' approval but also that of the community involved, making the saying "it takes a village" feel especially true.
