I work very loosely with Green Knuckle Material, which enables a highly collaborative, instinctive creative process. The band shares unreleased music with me and gives me the freedom to interpret the artwork based on the emotion, atmosphere, and lyrics within each track. Having that level of trust allows me to create visuals that feel personal to both the music and my own artistic voice.

For the single “Clothes,” the lyrics explore the temptation of wanting to be with someone even when you know you shouldn’t, ultimately giving in to that desire anyway. My illustration captures the quiet tension between a couple in the brief moment before a passionate love affair begins, that pause where anticipation and emotion hang heavily in the air.

For “Open Your Eyes,” the song centers on two people realizing the connection they already share and finally surrendering to their romance. I wanted to portray intimacy in a subtle, emotional way rather than make it overly explicit, which led me to focus on the lyric about intertwined hands and the spark of passion that comes with physical closeness.
