Robert Neary

Born and raised on Long Island, Robert’s career started early with roles in television and film before eventually leading him to Broadway productions like Smokey Joe’s Café, Aida, and A Bronx Tale. Beyond theater, he’s appeared in dozens of television shows including Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, and Sons of Anarchy. Working with Robert Neary is always such a fun experience because he genuinely brings so much passion and energy into everything he does. Recently best known for his hit tribute production, So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience, Robert has built a career that spans Broadway, television, film, and live performance, all while channeling the larger-than-life spirit of Neil Diamond in a way that feels authentic rather than imitated.

So Good! Logo Design

So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience is a tribute show and passion project of Robert Neary. He puts on the best hits of Neil Diamond and preformes with the Mystic Band across the globe and brings a true Neil Diamond Experience to a town near you. I had the pleasure of creating their iconic clean logo that has been going as strong as their tour.

So Good! Behind The Scenes Photography

Not only did I create the show’s official logo and visual identity, but I also served as the production’s photographer during rehearsals and early performances. These photos were taken behind the scenes while the band prepared for the very first So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience performance, which was later streamed on YouTube. My goal with the photography was to capture the energy, anticipation, and personality of the performers in those early moments as the show came to life.

Documenting the production from such an intimate perspective gave me the opportunity to preserve a really exciting moment in the show’s history, before it grew into the nationally recognized production it is today. Fun fact: if one of the background singers looks familiar, it’s probably because it’s me.

Cruisin Poster Design

Before Robert Neary took So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience on tour, he performed smaller productions under the name Cruisin’ Through The Decades. I had the pleasure of designing and illustrating promotional posters and social media advertisements for the show, creating visuals that reflected both the nostalgia and personality behind the performances.

The artwork was inspired by one of Robert’s favorite places and former home, Los Angeles, capturing the feeling of cruising through the city with his wife sitting beside him, her legs kicked up on the dashboard. I wanted the piece to feel cinematic and personal, less like a standard concert advertisement and more like a snapshot from a memory.
